The FBI Warning Screens Wiki

These are the warning screens from Karl-Lorimar/Lorimar Home Video and Kideo Video (children & family's version).

1985-1989, 1992

On a black background, we see a red box-shaped border with the words "FBI WARNING" in a thick red font with white outline. The following white warning text is seen below: "ANY COMMERCIAL USE OR DUPLICATION OF THIS COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL WITHOUT PRIOR LICENSING IS FORBIDDEN BY FEDERAL LAW: VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED. © (year) (KARL) LORIMAR HOME VIDEO, INC. All rights reserved."

In other variants, there are some releases don't have the Lorimar copyright info. The red border is also smaller, some releases black out the Lorimar copyright info. This was mainly seen on Forum Home Video releases, some releases omit the "FBI" letters, the warning text is also aligned to the right, the phrase "All rights reserved" may not be visible and the prototype warning screen doesn't have the red box-shaped border with those normal texts, which are the big red text on top & the little white text in the middle, along with the copyright info white text on the bottom.

As seen on VHS, such as Workout With Jane Fonda (1982), Maximum Overdrive (1986), King Kong Lives (1986), Manhunter (1986), The Chipmunk Adventure (1987), Bring On The Night (1985), From the Hip (1987), Crimes of the Heart (1986), Action Jackson (1988), Trick or Treat (1986), The Housekeeper (1986), Return of the Living Dead, Part II (1988), Big Shots (1987), The Morning After (1986), The Fourth Protocol (1987), In The Mood (1987) and others.
